La lucha por recomposición salarial en CONICET bajo el “Gobierno de Científicos”
Abstract
La asunción de un nuevo gobierno en la Argentina, en diciembre de 2019, trajo consigo una aparente paradoja. Mientras que, por un lado, el gobierno nacional encabezado por Alberto Fernández y Cristina Fernández de Kirchner prometía dar a la Ciencia y la Tecnología un lugar que no habían tenido durante el gobierno de su predecesor, Mauricio Macri; por otro, los trabajadores del principal organismo científico-tecnológico del país, el Consejo Nacional de Investigaciones Científicas y Técnicas (CONICET) iniciaban un proceso de lucha que aún se encuentra en marcha. A pesar del lugar que ocupó en la opinión pública la actividad científica, por las respuestas de la ciencia a los desafíos provocados por el COVID 19, y de los anuncios para el sector de una administración que se autodenominaba “Gobierno de Científicos”, la protesta y el paro de actividades se extendieron expresando los reclamos de quienes trabajan en el organismo. El inmovilismo de los gremios estatales frente a un ajuste que llevó los salarios a su peor marca en 20 años, a su vez, trajo una novedad organizativa: un movimiento autoconvocado en CONICET encabezando las protestas. En este artículo, analizaremos ambos problemas.
