Heterogeneities and linkages in Social Economy and Ecological Economics
Abstract
In last decades Social Economy and Ecological Economics have been showing an important growth and a mutual interest, but, despite sharing critical views of the economy, they still walk in separate lanes and confusing references are still observed that show some ignorance between them. One of the main factors that disrupt this meeting is the presence of several approaches and orientations within each of these fields. In order to contribute to getting better the dialogue, this work attempts to provide a scheme that organizes this heterogeneity. This will not only provide a clearer representation of what Social Economy and Ecological Economics mean. The aim is to find affinities and possible linkages that can collaborate in the construction of Other Economy.
